- 副官 参事官 発付＠八月十四日 三十八年十二日起案 案 函館臨時敷設隊ニ於テ敷設水雷ノ修 官房機密第九三〇号ノ二 理検査ヲ施行スルニ当リ之カ作業ニ充ツ（キ通当ナル用地＠ク差支炭ニ付テハ函館船渠会社ニ隣接シテ海岸面ニ在ル貴省用地（約二十坪）ノ内一時使用致度候条御承諾相成度此段及照会也 明治三十八年八月十四日 大臣 陸軍大臣アテ 横鎮機密第五三九号 函館臨時敷設隊ニ於テ昨今該方面敷設水雷ノ修理検査ニ着手中ノ処水雷及電纜共大ニ修理ヲ要スヘキモノアルモ敷設艇内ニテハ到底作業スルノ余地ナク又陸上ニ於テモ適当ナル海軍用地ナシ依テ船渠会社ニ隣接シテ海岸面ニ陸軍用地（約二千坪）アリ之ヲ使用スルコトヲ得大ニ便宜
