The library holds over 700,000 volumes of materials related to these countries and regions. It has digitized its collection of rare historical materials and makes them available on its website. Additionally, the Yamazaki Motoki papers held by the institute's Library are available on the JACAR database. These business documents, which pertain to the South Manchurian Railways Company, were preserved by Yamazaki Motoki, the company's final president.
