紐第四六一号 昭和二十八年七月二日 在ニューヨーク日本国総領事 島津久大 外務大臣岡崎勝男殿 韓国内部事情に関する件 本年五月十二日付往信紐第三四〇号及び往電第七八号に関し、その後韓国政府の内部事情につき、左の如く伝えるものがあるので何等御参考まで報告する。 一、韓国軍は、何時でも李承晩大統領を始末することができる。韓国軍は李大統領の支配下にある訳ではなく、その証拠としては李大統領は、親米に過ぎると言う理由で臼参謀総長以下の首脳部の免職をほのめかしたことは当時新聞が報導した通りであるがその後何等の措置も採り得ないでいる事実が挙げられ得る。 二、過去においても同様の事件が二つ起っている。 (イ)李大統領は
