- 昭和十三年十月 陸軍技術本部調製 軍需審議会日 議題第参 九七式自動砲仮制式制定ノ件 九七式自動砲審査経過ノ概要 一、審査ノ起源 第一線部隊並小部隊ト行動ヲ共ニシ適時戦車ニ対シ相当ノ威力アル軽量ナル二〇粍自動砲及十三粍手動銃ノ必要ヲ認ノ昭和十年六月部業トシテ研究ニ着手シ昭和十二年七月二十一日陸機密第九二号ヲ以テ研究方針改正セラレ九七式自動砲トシテ審査ヲ開始ス 二、審査ノ経過 １.設計要領ノ決定 二〇粍自動砲設計要領 諸元 イ、全備重量(弾倉ヲ除ク) 四〇瓩以内 ロ、砲全長 一、九五〇粍 ハ、口径 二〇粍 二、砲身長 六〇口径(一、二〇〇粍) ホ、初速 七五〇米 ヘ、弾薬ノ装填ハ自動的ニ実施セラレ撃発ハ毎発引鉄ヲ使用スル
