- (２１)岡崎局長「マックアーサー」参謀長会談要旨 八月三十日岡崎局長「マックアーサー」参謀長会談要旨 文書変更ノ件 一、詔書 本件ハ１、及２共ニ差支ナキ旨言明アリ 二、降伏文書 本文書ハ既ニ米国政府ニ於テ用意シ送附セルモノヲ受領シ居レリ、従テ今ニ至リ之ヲ変更スルコトハ不可能ト認ム但シ日本側説明ハ理由アリト認ム 米国側モ皇室ニ非礼ヲ為サントスル意嚮ナシ但シ今一度ノ変更ノ余地アリヤ否ヤ再考ス 三、一般命令第一号 一般命令ハ多少ノ変更ヲ加フルコトヽナレリ右ハ若シ可能ナラバ明日デモ写シヲ渡シ得ベシ但シ約束出来ズ １、(１)ノ点ハ日本側ノ言フ通リナレバ一般命令ノ字句ノ変更ノ有無ニ拘ラズ日本ガ申出通リト考ヘテ実際上差支ナシ
