- 十「オリンピック」東京大会取止メニ関スル件 昭和十三年七月十五日起草 宛 至急情報宛先 発 宇垣大臣 件名 「オリンピック」中止ニ関スル件 記録件名 合第二二四六号 十五日閣儀ニ於テ政府ハ一九四〇年東京「オリンピック」開催取止ヲ適当ト認メ右東京大会組織委員会ニ通違スルコトトナレリ。 昭和十三年七月十六日起草 宛 発 宇垣大臣 件名 「オリムピツク」東京大会取止ニ関スル件 合第二二四六号 往電合第二二四六号ニ関シ第十二回「オリムピツク」東京大会組織委員会ハ十六日東京大会返上ヲ決議シI.O.C.ヘ此旨電 報シタル所此機会ニ本官ヨリモ大東京招致ニ尽力シ呉レタル各国当局並ニ国際「オリムピツク」関係者ニ一応挨拶致シ度キニ付大会返上ハ一ツニ物心両面ニ亘リ益々国家ノ総力ヲ挙ケテ今次事変ノ目的達成ニ邁進シ以テ東亜永遠ノ平和ヲ確立セサルベカラストスル国民一 致ノ決意ニ依ルモノナルコトヲ説明ノ上関係方面ヘ従来ノ援助ニ対シ非公式ニ懇篤ナル謝意ヲ表スルト共ニ東京市ハ一九四四年第十三回大会開催運動ヲ為スノ決意ヲ有スルニ付右ニ対シ重ネテ後援方可然依頼アリタシ
