- 時命 四季ノ気候ト雨雪ノ期節 伊犂地方ハ土地北方ニ位スルヲ以テ気候至テ寒冷ナリ十数年前マテハ積雪丈余ニ達シ夏尚麻衣ヲ用ヒシコトナシト雖モ近来人口ノ増加スルト共ニ気候モ次第ニ変化シ来レリト云フ然レトモ現今四月ノ初メニ至リテ柳葉ノ青キト桃花ノ開クヲ見ル夏期ノ最高温度ハ華氏寒暖計ノ八十八九度ニシテ冬期ハ華氏寒暖計ノ三四度ニ下ルヲ以テ最下トス 此地方ニテハ雨量多カラス只六七月ニ至レハ時々降雨アリ又時ニ降電アリ九月ノ末ヨリ十月ノ初メニ至レハ降雪ヲ見翌年三月ノ初メニ至リテ初メテ消ユ但シ南北ニ連ル山頂ノ雪ハ盛夏ト雖モ消フルコトナシ 四季ノ流行病、風土病、虫害ノ種類 流行病トシテ恐ルヘキモノナシ只此地方ニテハ「マラリヤ」熱病甚タ多ク土人モ亦之ヲ恐ル
