- １８９８〔明治３１〕年９月２２日から明治３１年１１月１１日 機密第百二号信 清国政変ニ関スル報告 政変ヲ招キタル源因 客月十四日伊藤侯爵本地ヘ到着ス清国政府ハ候ヲ遇スル欵待玉ラサル所ナク殊ニ客月二十日ハ清国皇帝ニ於テ侯爵並ニ本官ニ謁見ヲ賜ハリ鄭通訳官並ニ侯爵ノ随員一同ヘモ謁見ヲ許サレタリ謁見ハ凡ソ十五分時間ニ渉リ慶親王並ニ総署大臣悉ク陪席シ清国皇帝陛下ハ伊侯ノ言上了ルヤ侯、本官並ニ鄭通訳官ヲ御席近ク召サレ親シク侯ト御対話アリ終リニ清国変法改良ノ事ニ関シ尚ホ陛下ノ大臣ヲ経テ侯ニ御下問ノ件々可有之事ヲ御談話有之タリ本官顧ミテ当日始終ノ様子ヲ想フニ突如トシテ其翌二十一日ニ於テ一大改変ノ起ルヘキ事ハ考ヘ及ハザル所ナリトス 政変ノ起リタル事ハ客月二十二日付第百六十九号並ニ百七十号ヲ以テ電稟シタルカ本官ハ実ニ客月二十一日午後ヲ以テ張蔭桓ノ邸宅ハ康有為ヲ宿泊セシメ居タリトノ嫌疑ヲ以テ捜索セラレタル事康有為並ニ其党与ニ対シテハ捕縛ノ命令密発セラレタル事西太后便殿聴政ノ上諭アリタル事等ヲ聞キ得タリ
