- ○朝鮮東學派ノ起因并ニ内乱ノ事 朝鮮開国四百六七十年ノ頃忠清道ニ崔福述（一ニ崔済愚トモ云フ）ナル者アリ東學派（俗ニ神仙術若クハ遁甲蔵身法ト云フ）ト称スル宗派ヲ起シ衆民ノ帰依日ニ盛ンナリシモ朝鮮政府ハ其説ク所騙妖治安ヲ妨害スルモノト認メ厳令ヲ布キテ之ヲ禁止シ且ツ教祖崔福述ヲ捕ヘテ斬首ノ刑ニ処セリ（一説ニ崔福述ヲ流刑ニ処セシモ配処ニ赴クノ途次船中ニ於テ病没スト云フ）然レトモ奉教者ハ之レト共ニ滅尽セサリシノミナラス却テ慶尚、全羅、忠清ノ三道ニ滋満シ全羅道ノ如キハ同道官吏中ニモ窺ニ之レヲ信奉スルモノアルニ至リ挽近政府カ耶蘇教ノ禁ヲ解キテ外人ノ布教ヲ許シ独リ東學派ニ対シ依然禁ヲ解カザルヲ見テ大ニ其非ヲ論シ
