- 昭和十三年八月国民精神総動員中央聯盟国民精神総動員中央聯盟ハ聖戦ノ目的達成ノ為、六月二十三日ノ政府声明ニ基ク軍需資材ノ確保ト国民精神ノ緊張並ニ国民体位ノ向上トヲ目標トシテ、事変下ニ緊切ナル生活様式ヲ定ムルノ要アリト認メ、非常時国民生活様式委員会ヲ設ケテ調査ヲ行ヒ、取敢ヘズ左記事項ヲ決定セリ。而シテ決定事項ニ都市ヲ対象トセルモノ多キハ現下ノ国内情勢ニ鑑ミ特ニ之ヲ必要トシタルニヨル。昭和十三年七月十四日国民精神総動員中央聯盟一国民実践事項一新調見合統制物資ハ勿論、生活用品ハ新調ヲ見合セ有合セニテ間ニ合スコト。二贈答廃止盆暮其ノ他ノ形式的贈答、時候見舞等ハ断然廃止スルコト。三服装簡素服装ハ簡素ヲ旨トシ、
