- 内閣官房総務課国語審議会ニ関スル件国語審議会総会会議報告昭和十七年三月三日（火）午後一時三十分、文部省第三会議室ニオイテ開会議題『標準漢字表ニ関スル件』記事会長挨拶、保科幹事長会務報告ニ引続キ議事ニ入リ会長ヨリ常用漢字ノ整理ニ関スル説明アリ。左ノ如シ。大正十二年臨時国語調査会ノ決定セル常用漢字表ニ就テハ其ノ効果見ルベキモノアリタルモ、制定以来既ニ二十年ヲ経過セルト、爾後ノ実施状況トニ鑑ミ、国語審議会ニ於テハ過般ノ総会以来、実ニ七十一回ニ亘ル慎重審議ノ結果漢字整理ニ関シ一応ノ成果ヲ得タリ。既チ、国民ノ日常生活ニ最モ関係深ク且使用度ノ高キモノヲ第一級トシ、重要度第一級ニ亜グモノヲ第二級トシ更ニ憲法、皇室典範、勅語、詔書等ニ現ハルヽモノヲ特別漢字トセリ。
