- タイムスの日露戦争批評（十二） タイムスの軍事投書家が其二月二十三日発行の紙上に論じたる所左の如し 日本上陸地点の北進 別項に掲載する威海衛よりの電報は頗る重要なるものにして三箇師団より成る日本軍団兵の仁川に上陸したることは之に依りて初めて其信ずベき報に接するを得たり是れ平壌を以て其進軍の目的地とするものにして即ち海軍に於て勝利を得たるの結果方略の此変更を行ふを得るに至りたるを示すものなり日本は一たび南方海岸に其兵を上陸せしめ韓国を縦貫して其進軍を行はんをを策し之に関する一切の準備を整へたる後今斯く速に其方進を仁川に変更したるは即其指導者に果決の明あり又其諸準備の大に卓越せるものあるを充分に表明
