Explanation: 主として日本海軍の軍令事項を所管した天皇直属の機関。軍令とは、陸海軍の統帥に関する天皇の命令を指す。海軍の軍令事項は、1884年2月8日設置の海軍省軍事部で所管していたが、1886年3月18日、参謀本部海軍部にその多くが移管された。以来、海軍参謀本部、海軍参謀部と変遷を重ね、1893年5月20日、天皇直属の機関として海軍軍令部が発足した。1933年10月1日、海軍部内における権限強化を目的として、軍令部が設置。1945年10月15日、廃止。
