Later ordered to attend to the councilor from the Ministry of War. 1873: Returned to Japan. 1875: Judicial Officer 7th class, Ministry of Justice. 1878: Judicial Officer, Tokyo High Court of Justice. 1882: Judicial Officer, Tokyo Court of Appeals. 1884: Chief Justice, Matsue District Court. 1888: Chief Justice, Kyoto District Court. Chief Justice, Supreme Court. 1894: Resigned 1899: Passed away. Younger brother by blood was Yano Jiro. Father of Tominaga Toshimaro.
