Explanation: Born December 1893. From Tokyo Prefecture. March 1916: Graduated from German Department, Tokyo School of Foreign Languages. October 1919: Passed the Higher Civil Service Examination. After a secretary posting in the Ministry of Communications, in June 1920 appointed communications commissioner at the Governor-General of Korea (Secretary, Communications Bureau). March 1921: Deputy Commissioner for Communications, Governor-General of Korea. Subsequently Chief, Inspection Division, Busan Post Office. June 1922: Appointed to the External Affairs Section, Communications Bureau, Governor-General of Korea. June 1923: Appointed to Electric Power Section of same. November 1926: Appointed Manager, Financial Affairs Division, North Chungcheong Province, in his capacity as a provincial commissioner for the Governor-General of Korea. January 1929: Manager, Financial Affairs Division, North Gyeongsang Province. November 1929: Chief Customs Inspector, Incheon. January 1931: Chief Customs Inspector, Sinŭiju. February 1932: Director, Internal Affairs Division, Gangwon Province. December 1932: Commissioner, Governor-General of Korea. Subsequently posted to the External Affairs Section, Secretariat of the Governor-General of Korea, residing in Xinjing, Manchūkuo. March 1936: Chief, Commerce and Industry Section, Industrial Promotion Bureau, Governor-General of Korea. December 1936: Appointed Commissioner, Nan'yōchō (Territorial Government of the South Seas Islands). Subsequently served as Director, Domestic Affairs Division, Nan'yōchō. Followed by concurrent appointment as Chief, Investigations Section, Director's Secretariat, Nan'yōchō. June 8, 1944: Resigned positions at own request.
