第五節 涿州保定会戦 附図第一参照 第一款 会戦前彼我一般ノ状況 其ノ一 敵軍一般ノ状況 北支方面ノ状況 九月上旬中部河北省ニ進出セル敵兵力ハ約三千二師内中央軍十七師最高指揮劉峙約四十万ニ達セルモノノ如リ保定及滄県ノ各北方地区ニハ各正面六七十粁ニ互リ外濠フ有スル堅固ナル敵陣地アリ涿州北京西南約五十粁固安涿州東方約二十八粁及雄県固安西南五十粁馬廠ノ線附近ニト夫々有力ナル敵兵団アリテ近リ第一、第二軍部隊ト独接シアリ八月下旬ヨリ逐次兵力ヲ増加シアルガ如シ 中支方面ノ状況 上海派遣軍ハ海軍ト緊密適切ナル協同動作ノ下ニ八月二十三日羅店鎮方面楊子江沿岸及呉淞鎮附近ニ於テ敵前上陸ヲ敢行シ特有ノ水濠地帯ニ巧ニ築設セル堅陣ニ拠
