大正九年二月十六日午前八時〇分三笠局発二月十七日午前七時五分海軍（無）局着 発信者三笠艦長 受信者海軍大臣、軍令部長 電報訳 機密第八番電報 一、今十六日午前六時漂泊地ヲ発シ見島ヲシテ先道セシメ結氷ノ簿弱部ヲ辿リツヘ砕氷北上ヲ試ム然トドモ昨夜漂泊中氷原ニ圧流セラレシ為午前十時ニ至リ漸ク（アグネオ）ノ西方八浬ニ達シタルニ過キス而シテ此地附近以北ハ堅氷一面ニ鎖シ突破シ得ル見込立タス、作業ヲ中止シ見島ヲシテ全力砕水試験ノ準備ヲナサシム此ノ間三笠ニ横付シテ見島ニ石炭ヲ分配補給シ午後「アレキサンドロウスキー」高村ト連絡ヲ執ランガ為「アグネオ」ヘ人員ヲ派遣シタルモ氷原ハ陸岸ノ近クニハ処々ニ亀裂アリテ揚陸困難ナリ、然モ
