明治三十七年三月二十二日軍艦富士戦闘詳報 於第集合点 松本富士艦長 一、天候快晴ニシテ風ハ南西ヨリ来リ其ノ力一乃至二 二、運動午前九時十五分旗艦ヨリ「三、四番艦列外ニ出デ予定ノ事ヲ実行スル為メ行近ノ信号アリタルヲ以テ直ニ列ヲ解キ八島ト共ニ老鉄山ノ予定位置ニ進ム九時十八分戦闘部署ニツケ戦闘旗ヲ楊グ九時三十分万事整備セルヲ以テ其ノ位置ニ休憩セシメ猶将校ヲ檣楼ニ配レ又信号部員等ヲシテ海面及前方陸上ヲ注意視察セシム九時四十分頃灯台ヨリ少ケク上位ニ当リ右垣ヲ以テ廻ラシタル一観測所アリ時々敵兵ノ頭ヲ挙ゲ監視スルヲ発見又標高五百呎山ノ西方山複ニ当リ一観測塔ノ如キモノト一臼砲トアリ敵兵数名之レニヨリタルモノ
