- 第十四章 海底電線沈置船 第一節 沖縄丸及ヒ奉天丸ノ艤装 第一目 沖縄丸 本船ハ逓信省所管ナリシカ、明治三十七年一月四日山本海軍大臣ヨリ逓信大臣大浦兼武ニ交渉ノ結果、軍用海底電線敷設ニ従事スルコトヽ為リ、爾後平和克復ニ至ルマテ、終始一貫能ク其ノ任務ニ従事セリ、今軍用電線敷設ニ関シ、同船ニ施セシ工事要領ヲ掲クレハ左ノ如シ、（章末附図参照） 一、明治三十七年一月十日佐世保海軍工廠造船部ニ於テ「トップスルヤード」（平素下降シ置ケルモノ）ヲ上架シ外舷煙突通風筒ヲ黒色ニ塗替ヘ船首ニ「ボースプリット」類似ノモノヲ仮設シ船名ヲ富士丸ト仮称セリ 一、一月十九日佐世保海軍工廠造船部ニ於テ外舷ヲ白色ニ煙突、通風筒ヲ黄色
