- 第十一章 救難船ノ艤装 第一節 猿橋丸、栗橋丸、大浦丸 第一目 猿橋丸 本船ハ、明治三十八年二月七日伊太利国ジエノア「アノニム、ペルリ、キユペリー」会社ヨリ、我カ海軍ニ於テ購入契約ノ後同会社ニテ回航シ、（備考文書第八号参照）四月二十九日長崎港ニ到著セシヲ以テ、佐世保鎮守府ヨリ派遣ノ海軍造船少監伊藤辰吉、及ヒ海軍艦政本部ヨリ派遣ノ海軍技師佐波一郎立会検査セシニ、毫モ故障ナキヲ以テ、五月十一日佐世保軍港ニ回航セシメ、十三日授受結了セシニ因リ、佐世保海軍工廠ニ於テ、所要ノ艤装並ニ一部装備品ノ検査ニ著手シ、六月九日結了セリ、其ノ工事要領並ニ検査方法左ノ如シ、（附図参照） 一、船底塗換 一、「ポルチエース」外引換修理
