監化物法 第一図 電熱還元法 第二図 「マグネシウム」合金 当社ハ近年「マグネシウム」合金ヲ研究シ、従来斯業ノ至難トセル鋳造技術ニ成効シ確信アル鋳造品、鍛錬品、管、棒、鈑、等ノ製造並ニ斬新ナル表面防蝕法ヲ之ニ施シ腐蝕ノ憂少ナキ優秀品ヲ得ルニ至レリ。「マグネシウム」唯一ノ特徴ハ軽質ニシテ一般ニ超軽合金ト云ハレ、其比重ハ「アルミニューム」合金ノ２．７１乃至３．００ナルニ対シ１．８５デアル、即チ同容積ニ於テハ「アルミニューム」合金ノ３分２、鉄ノ４分１、銅ノ５分１ノ重サニ過ギズ、一般金属材料ト其比重ヲ比較スレバマグネシウム合金ハ靭性高キニ係ラズ旋削作業頗ル容易ニシテ、アルミニュームの如ク工具ノ尖端ニ附着スル恐レナキタメ黄銅ノ場合ニ於ケルト同様ナル速度ニテ加工スルコトヲ得。
