５ 公第五一号 受第一七八三九号 明治四十二年九月三十日 在蘇州領事館事務代理大賀亀吉 外務大臣伯爵小村寿太郎殿 当館存続請願書送付ノ件 近来蘇州帝国領事館ハ本年度限リヲ以テ廃館セラレ同時ニ当地方ハ上海総領事館ノ管轄ニ帰スル様相成ルヤノ風説者之候由ニテ若シ果シテ之レガ事実ニ相成候ハヾ当地在留帝国臣民ハ大ナル打撃ヲ被ムルベキニ付失張ノ従前ノ通リ当館ヲシテ存続セシメラレ候様致度トノ趣ヲ以テ在留民総代細井貫了外四名ヨリ別紙請願書転送方申出候ニ付茲ニ及御廻送候間御査収相成候様致度尚ホ小官ニ於テモ右風説ノ如ク当館ニシテ廃館セラルヽニ立至リ候ハヾ仮今当地ト上海トハ鉄路ニテ約三時間水路ニテ十二時間余ニシテ交通シ得ニ至極便利ノ場所要丙ニハ候得共一朝被我交渉事件出来候
