(十二) 商務官制度監察官制度経費(含設置関係) 機密第二三九号 昭和九年七月十三日 在桑港 総領事富井周 外務大臣広田弘毅殿 商務領事官設置案ニ関スル件 外務省諸機関ノ経済的活動ニ資スル為在外公館ノ組織等ニ関シ客月中旬電報ヲ以テ在米大使ノ所見ヲ需メラレタルニ対シ同大使ヨリ在米各地ニ於ケル商務官網ノ拡充就中太平洋沿岸地方ニ於ケル米国商工業者ト接衝連絡シ我通商貿易ヲ擁護増進セシムル為当館ニ商務領事若クハ商務副領事ヲ置クコトノ必要ヲ具申セラレタルニ付テハ本官ニ於テモ予テヨリ其必要ヲ痛感シ居リタルヲ以テ当時該案ノ実現希望ノ旨ヲ禀申シタル次第ナリ 然ル処本件商務領事官設置ニ付テハ其候補者ヲ広ク日米両国ノ経済事情
