(１０) 「大東亜省」を新設 共栄圏内の諸政統一 拓務省、対満事務局、興亜院、外務二局廃止 十月一日実施建設必成の構へ 政府は行政簡素強力化の具体案決定に引続いて、今般的行政機構改革を断行すべく決意し当面の最大要請たる戦争完遂と大東亜建設の必成のため大東亜地域内の政務を強力集中的に行ふことを主眼として新に『大東亜省』を設置することに決定、関係各省との間に協議を重ねた結果、成案を得たので一日午後八時半から続開された閣議に附議、東条首相からこれを説明して正式決定した、よつて同九時二十分情報局から大東亜省設置要綱並に右に関する東条首相談を発表した、大東亜省は内地、朝鮮、台湾、樺太を除く大東亜地域即ち満洲
