英商ハウル我商健次等ニ係ル生糸売買違約一件 自乙丑八月至十一月 乙丑八月十一日 箱館一千八百六十五年九月三十日 八月十二日当る 運上所役人貴下 日本第八月十日迄又は其以前に被相渡へき蚕紙二万枚を日本商人五人と取組し約定書之写書を余相送れり余同人等に相渡せし前金一千五百両之請取書を相送る日本人又は余何れの方にても約定不遂方より前金に利金を加へ其外三千両之高を相払ふへき約定なり今日本人約定を不遂か故若日本人今右金を相払候へは其許余か為に請取られん事を願ふ尤十五日迄過料なしに相待たん事を余同意すへし 貴下従者 アルフレット、ハウル 右和解仕候以上 丑八月十二日 立広作 鈴木知四郎 乙丑八月十四日 千八百六十五年十月三日
