明治三十九年四月 伯国戦艦「アキダバン」号遭難ニ関シ在同国公使館事務代理報告之件 公第四号 受第四三九二号 伯国戦艦「アキダバン」号遭難之件 本月廿一日夜当国戦闘艦「アキダバン」ハ「バルロサ」及「テラデンテス」ノ二艦ト共ニ「ジヤクアカンガ」湾(リオデジヤネーロ州ニ在リ別首府ヨリ南方数時間ノ航程ニアリト云フ)ニ於テ相接近碇泊中俄候艦内ニ烈シキ爆声起レルト同時ニ「アキダバン」一団ノ火焔ニ包マシテ転覆シ「バルロサ」ヨリ救助艇ヲ送ラレトスル間モナリ沈没シテ百数拾名ノ乗組員ヲ載セタル儘深リ濤下ニ無影失ヘリ 今惨死ヲ遂)ケタル乗組員相ハ 海軍少将第一艦隊司令長 Radnigo fale da Racha 同
