公第九七号 印度内地巡回報告農業之部「牧畜」送付之件 本年三月十日公第五三号ヲ以テ送付致置候小官印度内地巡回報告農業ノ部饑饉ノ次ニ加フヘキ別冊「牧畜」差進候間御閲覧ノ上右ヘ合綴方可然御取計相成度此段申進候敬具 明治四十一年五月十一日 在孟買 領事藤田敏郎 外務大臣伯爵林董殿 第七節牧畜 第一類牛 印度ニ於テテハ(1)耕作運搬ハ重ニ牛ニ依リ牛乳ハ老幼貴賤及宗教上ノ差別ナク日常飲用シ肉ハ印度教徒以外ハ食用スルニ付牛ノ飼養盛ンニ行ハレ牝牛ハ中人以下ノ住家内ニ飼ハルゝ有様ナリ 印度全体ニ於ケル最近三年度間調査ニ係ル牛ノ数ハベンゴール州ヲ除キ大略左ノ如シ 一九〇三-四 一九〇四-五 一九〇五-六 牡牛 二九、三二七、〇〇〇 二九、九〇二、〇〇〇
