- 第三節衣食住ノ状態 衣服ハ男女共四時多クハ綿布ヲ用イ袖ヲ用ユルモノアレ共中等以上ノ少数者ニ限リ染色ハ十中八ハ紺、浅黄、水色（彼等ノ呼フ名称ニ従ヘハ青、毛藍、于藍、）ノ無地ニシテ飛白又ハ模様付キハ十中ノ一ニシテ他ノ一割ハ白色ナリ綿布ニ至リテハ其ノ酒類頗ル豊富ニシテ地合概シテ華美ナリ然レ共之レヲ常用ニ供スル者ハ極メテ稀ニシテ単ニ上流社会ノ婦人等ノ外出用衣服ニ用ユルニ過キズ冬期ハ防寒ノ為メ皮襖ト称スル長衣ヲシテ毛皮ノ裏附ケシタルモノヲ着ス其ノ表ハ木綿ヲ用イ裡面ニ羊皮ヲ附スルヲ普通トス、中等社会モ概シテ羊皮ヲ用イ其ノ＠皮ヲ附スルガ如キハ殆ント見サル所ナリ此等毛皮ノ価格ハ年ニ依リ一定セザルモ羊皮概ネ六七元ヨリ二十二三元迄羊皮十七元ヨリ五十五元内外ナリ
