- Kubun Roku is compilation of original official documents transferred by the Cabinet. The purpose of Kubun Roku is to record all applications and reports to ministries, agencies or prefectures for transfer by the Cabinet. These documents are classified for administrative organizations as well as specific items and incidents (76 categories in total). The documents were edited for each month in those days and these volumes were arranged yearly from 1868 to 1885. Actual documents were, however, recorded from 1867. If an incident continues for several years, the document is included each year.
